For their first big casino project, Station Casino’s president, Frank Fertitta, wanted a sky to rival the one at the Forum Shops at Caesars. But somehow, design communication wasn’t clear, and the constructed ceiling had more than 250 air conditioning vents plus numerous firm alarm and speaker covers cluttering its surface. This caused a design nightmare for SKY ART, but everyone agreed that the finished painting was a beauty.
