At the request of devotees of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Karen was asked to design the entrance corridor to the Five Elements Creation Exhibit located inside the new Chaitanya Joti Museum. Since the exhibit was to be visited largely by children, she chose to use animals as symbolic subject and painted ten murals on canvas at her studio in Denver. Gary Lloyd offered his time and the use of his backdrop studio in Los Angeles to help Karen paint a black light rendition of outer space for the ceiling of the Creation Theater. After all the paintings were finished, the canvases were trimmed, rolled, and placed inside sauna tubes for transport to India. Upon arrival, they were pasted onto the exhibit's ceilings. After three trips to Puttaparthy, and upon reflection, Karen considers this experience as one of the most transformational in her life.
