The inside of this luxury 727 airplane turned out to be one of the most unusual working environments Karen has ever encountered. The oval ceiling coffer, centered over a conference table, featured a fiber-optic star design and computerized periphery lighting wired into a shallow cove. Karen designed realistic clouds to skirt these star patterns, and when the timer cycled to "night" and the stars emerged, the overall effect was dazzling.
