Omni Royal Orleans Hotel Rib Room Bar

The Rib Room Bar, a New Orleans landmark for decades, was recently remodeled and updated. Here, over the bar area in the dining room, a small coffered dome was constructed to receive a detailed sky painting. Lighting expert Mark Rosenberg designed a computerized system that takes this ceiling through day and night. During the nighttime cycle, black light lamps illuminate cloud edges and make starry constellations visible, for an effect that is both romantic and entrancing.
