Scott Buelow was born in Bismarck ND, and
lives in his hometown to this day. He spent his childhood camping
and fishing with his family along the banks of the Missouri
River, experiences that have given him great appreciation for
the outdoors as well as several Master Angler awards for catch-and-release
of whopper class fish in North Dakota.
At five, Scott's brothers showed him the freedom a motorcycle
can offer. Years later, because of his love for cycles, he opened
The Bike Route, a bicycle and fitness store, and made friendships
that continue to this day. His latest passion for back road
exploration has taken him into the remote woods and sand dunes
of California, Colorado and Nevada.
Scott is known as "The Handyman" around Bismarck.
Having a great appreciation for historic value, his latest project
is a restoration of his family home, built in 1913. His mechanical
abilities are endless and he has restored several cars, trucks
and motorcycles.
Having caught the computer bug several years ago, Scott has
developed a passion for web design, digital artwork and photography.
This has spawned entertaining DVD slide shows and has greatly
benefited the SKY ART archives and website.
In 1998, for the Venetian project, Scott joined the SKY ART
team as the technical support person. Due to his innate curiosity,
he has learned many secrets that make SKY ART skies come alive
and has worked to become part of the painting team.
